PRACTICE MAKES PERFECT
Now that you're armed with information about our program, volunteer expectations, and what we do at Hanauma Bay, let's put into practice what you've learned. In this section, you will be responding to prompts via Flipgrid, a video discussion platform that allows you to practice and also helps us see and hear from each of you. We hope this tool will foster a fun and supportive social learning environment. Your computer or smart device will need to have audio and/or camera capabilities to record your responses.

Access the class grid by entering your first name in the Flipgrid box below and clicking "GO." To add your video response to a topic, start by clicking the "Record a Response" button or the red circle button with a camera icon. You can also access the class grid by going to flipgrid.com/hbepvolorientation1 and entering your first name to begin. If you're camera-shy, experiment with the emojis and image filters when recording yourself or flip your camera to film something else while you talk. Check out these links for helpful Flipgrid tips:
There are five different prompts for you to review and respond to and can be accessed by clicking on the "View 5 Topics" drop-down menu. Try to apply what you learned in the previous section to your responses and feedback. Keep it simple but also informative - don't overthink it. We encourage you to offer feedback and interact with your fellow classmates through video or text comments. Have fun!
